Our award winning (Best Spa Experience 2012, Australasian Spa Association) hammam is a purpose built steam treatment where heat and intense dampness are combined. It assists by making the skin softer, relaxing muscles, stimulating circulation and dilating the skin’s pores. This is an indulgent treatment which relaxes the mind and the body, whilst gently unblocking congested pores.
As a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re also offering use of our steam room to those struggling to recover from Covid. As long as you are no longer testing positive to Covid on a RAT, 15min steam sessions are available via booking at reception. Our hammam is thoroughly disinfected between all usage. Full change facilities, shower, hairdryer, gowns and disposable underwear available in multiple sizes.
For those having a package, but with fragrance allergies, we also offer neutral shea butter, whilst those with dry skin (or a history of eczema) may prefer to use a sugar or rice scrub rather than the argan/black soap usually offered within the classic hammam package. If you have concerns, please feel free to call and ask us about your suitability, or raise it with reception on the day.
